Littoral requalification  Sand Casting,  "Entre le Sable et la Mer"

The project is defined as requalification of the littoral: a coastal walk that connects three programmatic entities: the house of the fishermen, the swimming pools of salt water and “le Forum nautique”. The walk is a line encrusted in the landscape, it follows a constant level, the same as that of the bridge +4.40 slm (sea level). Through the voids, the hollows in the rock and the emergences springing from the project, the architectural system draws the littoral. We begin the walk by the fishermen's house and its market place which slips under the new arcades, it continues towards the salt water pools, which fill and store the water of the sea, creating basins encrusted in the rock . The course concludes with the Forum Nautique, equipped with conference rooms for the city, a craft workshop for the repair and sale of small boats as well as a training room for nautical practice.
